Cycle Rentals
Our rental fleet consists primarily of Trek 21 speed rigid mountain bikes.
These bikes, most suitable for scenic viewing while climbing our mountains and riding on our changable road conditions, are fitted out with:
- water bottles,
- mirrors,
- rear racks topped with rack bags,
- lock and key and
- local maps with day tour information.
- a helmet
- a rear rack that will fit most autos lacking a rear “spoiler”.
The inclusion of auto racks in our rental package makes it easy to transport the bikes to various trailheads and starting points around Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
We rent bikes from out location in Smelt Brook, near Cape North, on the northern tip of the Cabot Trail. We rent by the 24 hour day, and offer discounts for three-day and weekly rentals. Our 24-hour rental periods are convenient for sunset or early morning rides, or for rides along routes when whales can be viewed from the bikes.
